Our R4C group mission trips are about two weeks long. This is an opportunity for adults and families to be challenged in their christian walk through meaningful service. You will have opportunities to work in schools, feeding centers and assisting with medical clinics as well as many other areas. If you have strengths or talents in other areas, we will design a plan so that you can serve God how He has equipped you. As you journey through the rural villages of Kenya, East Africa you will be given opportunity to share your story with people that have never heard about Jesus Christ. God will test your faith, renew your compassion and embrace you with a love so magnificent, you will never be the same when you return home! The story is profound, the journey is exciting and the people in Kenya are warm and open to the Good News! Please sign up today and be a part of something that will ignite your heart for others, bringing hope and change to the people of Kenya. Contact us today at real4christ@gmail.com

“The importance of visiting the mission field: Nothing has impacted me for the cause of missions like making a trip to see it first hand. All the reports, letters, videos, and testimonies of missionaries and nationals have been outstanding. However, seeing the people in their homes and in the work places, and worshiping with them has had the greatest influence on me. Likewise the people of our church have been greatly influenced by taking a trip to see firsthand the work of Christ.
After you return from seeing the missionary work then the videos, reports, and testimonies mean so much more. I am so thankful for missionaries who welcome our church groups on the field and go out of their way to host us while we are there. They are a blessing not only to the people where they are serving but to all of us who desire to see the work of God on a foreign field.
May I encourage you to come to Kenya and let Chris and Lisa show you firsthand what God is doing there. Let me warn you; you will never be the same!”

“Mombasa, Kenya has been more than just a trip away from reality, but it has forever changed my life. How I first discovered Real4Christ Ministries was when I was sitting in church, looking aimlessly through the bulletin. Each week the bulletin looked the same, but for some reason I noticed they added a tiny square in the bottom right hand corner that said, “If interested in going on a mission trip to
Mombasa, Kenya contact Chris Moore.” At that moment, I knew the Lord wanted me on that trip. I ended up calling Chris that night and talked to him for almost two hours on the phone. I told him my testimony; he told me the vision of real4christ and the Lord gave me comfort.
In July 2009, I arrived in Mombasa, Kenya with a team of 19 and my world was transformed. The Lord opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective on reality. For the first time in my life, I shared the gospel with someone. I was amazed that it took me 18 years to actually truly evangelize to others and share God’s word. I witnessed many people come to know Christ and I finally understood what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
I recently went back to Mombasa, and stayed with Chris and Lisa for a month. Again, my eyes were opened and I grew more in my faith. Real4Christ Ministries has been a blessing in my life, and Christ has been so present in their Ministry. With working with Real4Christ Ministries, my passion for cross-cultural ministry has flourished and I founded the Run4Change organization at Texas A&M University to help establish change in Kenya through the natural ability of running. I am blessed to be a part of Real4Christ and have their ministry a part of me as well. So, Mombasa, Kenya is more than just another a trip away from reality, but it is Home. Mungu Akubariki! (God Bless you!)”

“All the months of preparations could not answer my question “Is this real?” All the pictures, all testimonies all the accounts describing the depth of poverty and the lack of hope in the eyes of children did not penetrate, until I visited. Seeing the contrast of hope, the mountains of joy and levels of excitement in the heart and songs of the children inside the mission walls compared to those outside the walls looking and desiring to be in, I was overcome with conviction. The first two days were days of repentance asking Jesus to forgive me for not responding sooner. Seeking Jesus forgiveness, for sitting on the talents and gifts given unto me.
Recognizing Jesus’ joy and the hope which lives in Christ should not be confined to 5 acres of property and 130 students. There are lives to be saved outside those walls, children to be taught outside of these walls and much work to be done outside these walls. However, by the end of the mission trip my question was fully answered with a question: “Now that you know how well I have blessed you, what are you going to do about it?”
