A fathers hope
Badhiru Said is quiet the bundle of joy in the KG1 class at Maasai corner. He enjoys learning and playing with friends. His story is one of hope, drive and faith. His father Said is a common face at Maasai Corner Academy, doing all kinds of odd jobs and construction work around the school. Said strives to see that Badhiru, his first son, gets a better life than he has. He knows that only through education can his Badhiru get a chance to one day have a stable life. So, he toils come rain or shine and works hard to keep his son in school and provide for his young family.
Badhiru and Said live near the school in a mud hut he built. Every day he prepares his son and takes him to school as he himself goes to work. He knows that Badhiru will be fed and taken care of at Maasai Corner Academy. This is the struggle of a dedicated father for his small little hope, that one day his son will live better than he ever did or ever will.
